What kind of snare would you recommend for this kind of stuff in death metal?

in this video, and when i played with a death metal group, i used a piccolo snare, for the snap and tightness it had. I now use a Tama Warlord which has all that with some body to it also. My personal recommendation would be anything that isn't too fat sounding, since the clarity needs to be there. Something crisp. Altho if you tune-up pretty much any snare you should get some good results. thanks for checking this stuff out man.

with all due respect these techniques are not anything brand new They have been around since the 80s ive been using it since 93 great job though... they are finally making it mainstream..
