how do u do this? intrigues me as i don't own 1, but a friend of mine shown me this and it worked, he didn't explain it very well though, does the sound go through a microphone...listen to it.... then play it? please let me know, this is awesome!

Oh, that's neat that there's a way for it to grab playback data off the audio stream of a video.
If only there was some way to hide it as background instead of completely blocking out regular audio though.

Yes, I've been meaning to post a "audio" version of this video for those who do not own a Yamaha Disklavier Mark IV. It won't be as fun to watch since it won't be able to sync with your piano and make the "live" music.

This video plays via YouTube from my Tivo Series 3 which is connected to my Disklavier Mark IV piano. (See your Yamaha Mark IV's instruction manual under video sync for help on making the proper connections.) Software version 3.0; Sync offset to -100 ms; The audio contained on this video is actually timing information and so you will want to mute your Tivo when playing. *** You also need to load PIANO020.MID file I recorded onto your piano for this video to sync with your piano. ***
