  • I am timing these runs, giving you a little bit of rollout (not starting the timer til you roll forward a few inches) and stopping the timer right as the timeboard lights up and even subtracting one or two tenths to give you the benefit of the doubt and i'm still coming up with about 15.5 every time. Are you subtracting your reaction time from the ET the timeslip shows?

  • @gtdrummerdude reaction time does not factor into E/T during test and tune.

  • @600k4gsxr You know why people are buying "ricers" right? Probably because they can now outperform muscle cars in practically all aspects minus sound. Don't get me wrong, I love modern and old muscle cars, but V8 engines are a dying breed.

  • had a 1995 legend 6 speed 3.5. killed my friends ls v8.

  • wow listen to all that rice! bing! bing!

My brother has an '01 Continental and it's pretty damn quick. The Lincoln LS weighs 3,900 pounds according to the 2005 brochure I have, and the Continental weighs 3,848 LBS according to a road test from motor trend. The Conti has a 4.6L DOHC 32v V8 from the Mustang Cobra. The LS V8 is a 3.9L V8. The LS has 280 HP and the Conti has 275 HP but it's slightly lighter. I bet it would be a great race actually. One I'd love to see.

  • @bricbob1986 i know right whats with that? why would i want a hella fast neon? its a neon right? my sister drives one,

  • @soulademics its not a guzzler it depends how u drive it i could get 30 on the highway if i worked for it and at 80mph i was still getting 20-23mpg yes it takes premium but in town take it easy on the throttle and u can get 19-20mpg in town and like i said i got as much as 30 on the highway

  • so my co worker was saying how he hates the ls and the 2002 continental can smoke it..i dont fuckn think so.. i drive a marauder but love the 2005 ls. small block v8 its slick and clean they wanted 26 grand..this was back in 05 so i got a used marauder 03 insted for 22gz

  • Im going to be building lincoln ls turbo thats able to push 18 lbs of boost. What manual trans can bolt up to the ls? I was wondering if the mistang gt 5sd would bolt up.

  • @soulademics

Yes it consumes alot of gas..

  • @TR86 you should always brace yourself to taste your own medicine. ; ]]
