@iheartiker sorry, didn't mean to imply he doesn't have German heritage (before he was famous I actually used to remember him by thinking of German director Rainer Werner Fassbinder). I just meant that he identifies primarily as Irish since that's where he grew up.

@llswanbe um... I agree with you about how great Fassy is, but he is half-German, not just German-born. Hence the name 'Fassbender'.

@h19441947 You are hilarious. First of all, he's Irish (just German-born)...can't you tell by the Irish brogue? Second of all, Fassbender is only the most talked about actor this year. He won Best Actor in Venice. He was in 6 films in 2011 alone with incredibly famous directors. Ever heard of Steven Soderbergh (Haywire)? David Cronenberg (A Dangerous Method)? Steve McQueen (Shame)? I guess you don't know anything remotely about film. Also, Ferguson is Scottish, smart one.
