personally, I don't think Coldplay sucks. they definitely don't sound a thing like Radiohead, but they do have some good tracks.

You could always tell Flea was a little too good for Kiedis.
Frusciante is solid, and Flea of course is like a live wire of musical soul.
It's nice to see Flea liberated to go into more exotic terrain without that douchebag Kiedis penning shit lyrics for the upteenth time about California.
