The Famous Sam Moore Playing his version of the Laughing Rag on the Octo-Chorda Guitar and Horace Davis on Harp Guitar. Sam a virtuoso and many instruments made himself famous on this faithful day at Victor Studios when his talent and chance duet with Horace Davis and two special guitars resulted in a million records sold recording. Even though Sam Moore was not Hawaiian the style was very popular in the late 19-teens. Not surprising it could have been the catalyst that created country steel guitar in America. And I swear that I've heard this song on Spongebob Squarepants once or twice. Recorded 8/24/1921 for RCA Victor record number 18849-B. AN Acoustic 78rpm record records at 72 RPM on a Ion TTUSB turntable in albuquerque New mexico.
AMAZING!!!!!!!

Just read about this tune in Vintage Guitar Magazine (05/2010). Though I might find it if I tried hard enough. Found it on my first search - thank you Zefrenm.

Unique, great sound and an attention-keeping vid ties it all together; me like. Thanks, Zefrenm!

I used to use this as my opening theme on my radio show. There's a version Sam recorded on Gennett, too. Bob Dylan recorded it as "Suze" (aka "The Cough Song").
