Love this.

Alternatively you could argue that our NASA technology (hubble) allows us to view the heavens closer than ever.

However spiritually, the Ant's argument is dead on.

i went to Moab with my family, and one night we drove out into the mesas to stargaze in one of the few International Dark Sky areas in America, and the stars were so amazing. it was one of the coolest experiences ever. i wish it were easier for people to see that.

Some people are STILL in the dark, even with light all around them.

Not only that but all the energy being used by all those lights is melting all the glaciers and both polar ice caps.

The problem may take care of itself.

There are moments I do feel closer to things in life, but the one with the universe thing is a new age concept that I don't really follow. I do like to be One with nature so to speak, as it is a great healer and easing of anxiety.

take a trip north, i used to live near alert canada the skys are aboslutely beautiful at night.. more so in winter. not a single other sound- no cars, no wind just silence except when the auroras are out in full force, they make a crackling sound. its hard to remember what thats like living in the city now. no matter where i go i hear something.
