  • Is it a waterline replica, or does it have the full-detail hull with the bulbous bow?

  • It is a full hulled model and yes it does have the famous bulbous bow...which even in scale does have an interesting effect on her bow wake at slow speeds. Model will be on display and operated at St Louis Union Station Sept 20-21, 2008.

  • It has no funnels

  • Good observation...this was a test run for the running gear. See other video where more progress has been made. Model still needs superstructure work and lifeboats.

  • How does N-scale work out for building a liner in terms of how it handles in the water, copes with conditions, looks through moderate waves etc.?

  • Does it cause the model to move faster through the water than it normally would? Or does this generally only work with actual vessels?

  • Its a slow process, building in my spare time. All decking in place now, funnels in place but still building superstructure walls. See my other videos I just uploaded for current footage!

  • What is with the funnels

  • Cool!
