This interview by Neal Marshad was part of two TV specials in association with The Improv comedy club and The Comedy Channel (Comedy Central's original name). Taped just prior to Steve's very first appearance at the club. During a three year period Neal Marshad Productions' film crews traveled across the USA documenting thousands of comics for the Comedy Channel. Included were first-time appearances by Steve Harvey, Brian Kiley, Judd Apatow, Ellen Cleghorne, and Ray Romano. Emmy winner Neal Marshad's career includes over 20 years as film producer and cinematographer on NBC Saturday Night Live. For SNL, Neal produced: "Java Junkie" with Teri Garr and Peter Akcroyd, "Falling in Love" with Jon Lovitz and Victoria Jackson, "Hooked on Sushi" with Kevin Nealon, "Love is a Dream" with Phil Hartman and Jan Hooks, "Best of Saturday Night Live", "Land Before Televison" with Dana Carvey, "Best of Phil Hartman SNL", and "25 Year Anniversary SNL". Neal photographed, edited, produced and directed other projects with comics Bill Murray, Arnold Stang, Henny Youngman, Alan King, David Brenner, Robert Klein, Jerry Stiller, and Anne Meara.

  • People think steve harvey started doing comedy when he was young. Actually he jump in the game at a older age. I dont think he was that young in the video.
