my uni set up a skype session with him for a lecture, was fucking awesome hearing about how he mixes and how he started out in this business. really awesome and genuinely down to earth dude :)

well I can't afford to just pay someone to mix for me, so I HAVE to do it myself.. produce, record, and engineer the beat. And yea it's pretty difficult, but everything is difficult before it becomes easy...anything worth the effort anyway.

a true musical genious.
Mixing is an art form in it's own right. I play many instruments, write music, as well as create & produce my music. However, I leave the mixing to someone else. Someone with the ear, talent, creativity to change, shape, and form the song into life. That's what they do, they add color to a song...they add life to it.
