Audience video of Beach Boy Al Jardine joining Adam Marsland's Chaos Band (with special guest Alan Boyd, and Evie Sands on lead guitar), at an outdoor concert outside Sacramento, California in September 2005. Jardine played with the band onstage after seeing AMCB do a set of Dennis and Carl Wilson covers at a private reception.

The band's album LONG PROMISED ROAD: SONGS OF DENNIS AND CARL WILSON LIVE was released in March 2007 and is available on amazon.com. The band's website for original music is www.myspace.com/adammarsland and the Wilson covers are featured at www.myspace.com/denniscarltour.

  • @cherrykitten68 grew up in Newport Beach (Orange County) I remember when these songs were new on an AM radio in a volkswagon beetle flying down the freeway going surfing!! Now in New Hampshire and there's not a beach within a billion miles. In fact, they don't call it 'the beach', it's called 'the shore' out here. If you'd like to reply feel free to do so. I'd like to connect with like-minded souls. If not, that's cool too. Peace

  • this song makes me want to cry :( I miss home. I grew up in Hawthorne and left everything behind.

  • Al and Brians outfits make Love and the so called remaining "Beach boys" act seem almost Kareoke,.

  • Al sounds great! It makes one wonder why The Beach Boys put up with Mike's crap.

  • Mike's voice had that boyish sound that was their trademark. But, you know, Al did a lot of leads: "Help Me, Rhonda," "Heroes and Villains," "Vege-tables," and his own hits like "Cotton Fields."

  • Brilliant sounds and tight harmonies.

    Great clip

  • Al DOES kick ass. Hopefully he'll put out a solo album.

It's nice to see some lost classic tunes getting exposure.
