Bob Rowling used to reside in Corpus Christi but he has moved to Highland Park Dallas, Texas.
Bear & Kitty dialogue: in 1970 they estimated the Coliseum already had 10,000 events in It. Robert Brian Rowling, a very PRIVATE man who owns the Omni chain hotels claims he wants to put an amusement park IN PLACE of the Memorial & said he was going to put up 30 million. But word around town is he's only waiting for when GAMBLING is approved in Texas so he can build a CASINO. What rights do the Veterans have anyway; they're long dead; why should he treat them better than the Government? Just go visit Walter Reed Hospital..
Kitty: my friends also tell me that Bob Rowling, a multi-Billionaire who lives in Dallas, that he wants the land so he can build a Casino there. Does anyone seriously believe that this "very private" Billionaire cares anything about Veterans?
Bear: of course a Casino is so much more important than a Memorial, why should he care for the Veterans; he'd rather make more money, wouldn't you? NO one should presume that 6 1/2 billion is enough for anyone. We also ought to be mighty glad that he is ambitious & not a lay about; this guy is a REAL man, you know, it takes REAL guts to begrudge Veterans a Memorial after all, they're only willing to give their LIVES for him, no big deal. And why some people have their knickers in an uproar because this "do-gooder" removed their access to porn movie privileges in his Omni hotels, you gotta admire him for so much goodness. He is as pure as the driven snow & convinced someone of this Bull MANURE! The man is so private that he has no choice but pull millions of strings from the background..
You can't misbehave like that, you'll get into trouble. Bear: really? What'ya gonna do, strangle a piece of stuffed fabric? Certain people pretend to be "DEVOUT CHRISTIANS" but the hell they put other people through is beyond the pale. They have enough money to buy anyone & anything except my friends of the Coliseum. I am so very proud of them, they have principles & they CARE about the Veterans. The good guys spent many thousands of dollars to pay attorneys fees to get injunctions & what have you - to STOP the demolition. Bob Rowling is protecting his investments, nothing wrong with that; possible he might be convinced a Casino is way more profitable, but.. Hostess: unless you have proof, you can't make statements like that. Bear: can't make statements like that, yada, yada; they leave plenty of clues, they set up web-sites & recommend that everyone in town find out who the people are that on't support the destruction, what businesses they're in & that everybody should boycott these businesses. Then they sick weasel Carlos Valdez on these innocent people; how much more can those GOONS violate the RIGHTS of good people who want to save a Historic Award Winning Building? Any idea who has the money to pull off the shenanigans?
