So I was practicing and I thought I would see how far I could get by memory while the camera was rolling!

I miserably fail a couple times, but for the most part I played decently (try not let the crappy macbook pro audio get on your nerves)

Anyway, I thought you guys would want to see me play the coda even if I couldn't make it there by memory. So I took another vid of me playing just the coda by memory!

Hope you enjoy!

Kyle

  • Kyle is definitely the best improviser on Youtube hands down... but to say he's the best pianist on Youtube is a bit debatable.

  • I would like to hear this piece but when you have seriously practised it :P

I wanna know how skilled you are in classic music ^^

  • Kyle, it would be just lovely if you redid this piece with better sound quality. If you still know the piece.

  • @DickKnowsBest kyle is good and thats it. ValentinaLisitsa is just on another level. kyle will get in our memories because of video games and animes improvs. classical music is something that goes beyond anything in music.

  • Beautiful!!! I love this music!! Thanks.......

  • Nice! I want to learn this one movement from one of Ginastera's Sonatas.. I think it's the fourth movement of the first sonata? I don't know, but that one sounds really cool. :)

AHAHA DUDE. I'm DONE with the Waldstein Sonata. I'm so sick of it. It's a really nice sonata... but I've been working on it for the past four years now. It's time to move on. -_-; I had to use the complete sonata for my auditions so that's why I couldn't get rid of them just yet.

Get more classical videos out! ;)

  • Btw, about the G minor ballade: It is over-played... but I still love it. I am going to be playing it for my entire history class (it's a huge class, around 80 kids, but there's a beautiful steinway in the class!) after spring break because we are on Chopin right now... I'm a bit nervous, but I can't wait to perform one of my all time favorite pieces. I'm going to take it so seriously while I'm performing, can't wait!

  • Sorry for not answering yet T_T.

I wasn't learning much then anyway, but now I am. I'm learning a Ginestera Sonata, a liszt transcription of a Schumann song, this really cool Griffes piece (obscure composer, but good), and Beethoven's Waldstein sonata. Sorry for the unspecifics :|

  • You really really really need an acoustic piano, or even better, a grand for these large scale works!!

  • Hi !! ;D

    Greeting from Thailand ..

    ^^

  • LOL
