@abledime it should be noted that the HFE35C has a range of 0.1 to 1999mw/m2 so it could not give a reading of 198000mw/m2

@abledime it can measure when you use energy and charge you different rates depending if you are in a peak of off peak time, but so can non smart meters as i have and do many others. so i plan my energy use accordingly eg use dryer over night rather than during day

@abledime A reading from 400 to 800 would be experience sitting at a PC terminal, if you have a wireless (Wi-FI) transmitter in your house this could give a reading of 3000mw/m2 BUT all of these readings will drop off the further you are from the source. Smart meters cannot tell what you are cooking or what appliances are being used, what they do, is tell your energy company in real time what energy you are using. this allows you EC to give precise bills so no more estimates..

this is complete rubbish, at 3:06 they use a HFE35c RF analyser to claim a power flux reading of 198000microwats/m2 but the unit is showing just 1989 microwatts/m2 CLOSE TO A BANK OF Meters where the reading will be high, but you would not sit in front of a bank of meters like this. it should be noted that a reading of 1500 to 1900 would be equal to a mobile phone conversation.
