Rosy and Rocky play together in Seal Point Dog Park. Rosy with dog body language invites another dog to play with her and ignore the ball in his mouth. Then Rosy plays with a kicked ball and Rocky appears to steal Rosy's ball and then pee on it! Our current guess is Rocky found a spot worth marking with a urine flag. Rocky drops the ball probably to get a more accurate sniff analysis as protocol for best results may demand spit out or swallow what's in the jaws thus eliminating objects proximate to the primary entrance for air analysis of new vapors in the surrounding area. Too bad the coveted tennis ball now out of Rocky's jaws is at the same spot for Rocky's urine based method for deposition of Rocky's unique composition of chemicals at levels only a dog can smell and used for communicating important odoriferous information. All that happened via Rocky's unique volatilisation of chemicals combined in a ratio probably formed without intervention from Rocky. OTOH perhaps Rocky's control over chemical composition may vary if Rocky needs to transmit different signals or messages using marking with his urine fingerprint of chemicals dissolved and perhaps suspended in a colloidal state. A record of this typical canine caper now exits here for the viewers consideration.
Rocky drops the ball out of his jaws so he can sniff the ground. That spot must be marked by Rocky and it’s just too bad that Rosy’s ball may marked by collateral marking. But maybe that’s enough for Rosy to pull Rocky’s tail and she does that a lot. LOL

Rosy will initiate playing with a ball. Rosy’s previous owners probably didn’t play with Rosy but she did have access to a ball to value a ball as a toy, Her style of ball play shows that. Old owners over fed them and under exercised them. Both are food thieves of the most ungrateful kind tho. Rosy is beginning to be more interested in being a fetch dog in her own style. Rosy doesn’t have Otto’s style but that shows Otto’s cataracts did impair his vision for rapid attack of tennis balls.

R&R lost a few grams of lard but not a lot. Both went to the vet and got a clean bill of health with a diet plan. That means even greater vigilance over these food thieves.
