Ok, I sang this song as a Junior in high school. This is fucking Amazing and off the scale in vocal quality, phrasing, texture, tambre, and execution. No more comments needed ever.

Many people get this as the first song to learn when they start taking voice lessons. As a byproduct of that, it is often stuck with the stigma that it is a song merely for beginners. It is a simple tune, but a gorgeous one for all levels of singing from novice - Pavarotti.
