She was offered £88,000 by the banker, but rejected it to gamble on winning £250,000 but lost and ended up with 1 pence

  • She has an extrodinarily long face, both before and after she gets the 1p.

  • @MrTherealtomgunn Did that test myself with a deck of cards 150 times. Shuffled the whole deck and drew out 3 cards with the highest being the top prize. Clearly the Monty Hall Problem is garbage. 2 boxes. 50/50. It's either in one or the other. The other boxes are irrelevant.

  • @Lorric101 actually mate, you're quite a way off on the probability side of things. it's actually 21 to 1 that she has the 250 grand. If she could swap she should have.

If you choose 1 from 22 boxes, only once out of 22 times would you choose the 250k. that means that 21 times out of 22 you'll pick one that's not the 250k. When all but one are revealed, you're still left with your 1/22 odds of 250k on your box. Swap, and increase odds to 21/22. Look up 'The Monty Hall Problem' on wiki :-)

  • Always interesting to read the comments on these things. I wonder what the comments would be like if the title of the video was something like "Brave Granny loses £88,000 and leaves with 1 pence on "Deal Or No Deal"

  • @jcamo12345 I don't agree. £88,000 is a slap in the face when the split down the middle is £125,000. It's not greedy it's sense. Unless you really need the money. If not you're basically staking £88,000 on a 50/50 chance at £250,000. That's a smart gamble, especially when it's not even your money your betting, if you know whatI mean. it's not far off trebling up if you win. An offer of around £100,000 and I'd be more inclined to agree. Banker deserved to lose for an insulting offer like that.

  • Bless her, probably got 500k in her house and only does knitting, kids would of bought a sports car and crashed with her in it anyways.

  • @SirPenguin75

I 100% agree with you, it was more about the fun for her I think, most of the people commenting here are absolute cunts.

  • Her face when he opened the 1p box is priceless!!!! mwahahahahahahaha!!!!
