@ghettohillbilly1 Actually GLOBALLY the 1400's were cooler than todays temps, This has been confirmed by the National Academy of Sciences Report on Climate Reconstructions. "Why is CO2 a natural life gas regarded as toxic" - try standing in a room full of CO2, never heard of too much of a good thing is a bad thing. "the sun IS getting hotter|" No it's not, total solar irradiance has fallen on average since the 1970's see the PMOD data from the world radiation centre for clarification.
@checkyoursources I guess they left out the time in the 1400's when the earths temperature was over 5 degrees hotter than it is now on the surface, but either way who cares? seriously what does it change? Why is CO2 a natural life gas regarded as toxic? it is needed for life to exist, and another but very signifigant factor is the sun solar activity and the likes which has the BIGGEST effect on our temperature, the sun IS getting hotter,so its no big surprise if the earth is
@ghettohillbilly1 Between the last ice age and today there have been 6 degrees temp change. The first 5 degrees of change took tens of thousands of years, while the last degree took just 55 years. I ask again: Please feel free to name a specific natural factor that explains the majority of warming since the 1970's better than anthropogenic global warming?
The Berkeley Earth group concluded that the warming trend is real, that over the past 50 years the land surface warmed by 0.911 °C.
@checkyoursources which warming are you speaking of?, the fraction of a degree, i dunno where ya get your numbers, you prolly belive the whole hockey stick scam, but i guess youve looked past common sence to belive what al gore is telling you, and the earth warming after any ice age is normal, i think you need to really do some of your own research not just blindly beliving fraudulent statements by paid off or just plain bad scientists
@checkyoursources the most likely of all is nature and its cycles, as much as we are made to think were making this happen its just happening, its normal, we probably do increase it but at a fractional rate, i mean as much as weve polluted our air it cant compare to volcanoes spewing extremely toxic things cause years of darkness, also im pretty sure it was in the 1400's there was a time that was much warmer than now, greenland was actually green back then
Also severe snow storms and blizzards will be increased by global warming after all what do you need for snow evaporation its like that for all snow storms also don't rant about something unless you can scientifically back it up
I still believe in global warming and it is being increased by humans and yes I do believe that some climate scientists are in it for the money and are corrupt. Also when you look at the amount of tropical cyclones, floods, droughts and the severity of them lately and the ice caps melting and I want to save polar bears most of all cause conservation is important. Also many great people like Steve Irwin and David Attenborough made me believe in global warming
@MikeFromTheUK1 Greenhouse gases are the most likely explanation for the majority of warming since the 1970's. If you disagree then please suggest a more likely alternative?
Al Gore was a douchebag with the inconvient truth. He twisted a lot of data and even made some up. However global warming protrayed in many textbooks and written papers are much different to the "oh no the planet is going to turn into a raging inferno" nonsense of enviromental wackos. The planet is going to be fine. It is the life on the planet that will suffer. Meaning us.

@ghettohillbilly1 Be specific, which natural cause do you personally believe is responsible for most of the warming since the 1970's?
Volcanoes emit around 0.3 billion tonnes of CO2 per year. This is about 1% of human CO2 emissions which is around 29 billion tonnes per year.
The vast majority of scientific academies and evidence suggest that no natural factors can account for the majority of warming since the 1970's.
p.s. volcano particulate emissions cause cooling, not warming.
