DISCLAIMER : I do not own this song or any part of this video. Video belongs to the Rolling Stones and this video is only promotional, but the song is originally from Robert Johnson.

No one upload this epic song from Madison Square Garden so I did it. Great cover from Robert Johnson's song, released on Let It Bleed album. This is a part from video "Gimme Shelter" about Altamont concert, mainly focusing on performance of The Rolling Stones.

  • Actually, this song doesn't belong to the Rolling Stones either. It belongs to the heirs of Robert Johnson. Keith Richards was always a huge Robert Johnson fan, but the Studio did not want to credit Johnson for his song. One of his heirs sued the Stones, and won in court.

  • @JDSackman Yeah you're right, I forgot to mention that in description. I'll fix this asap. Thanks man :)

  • Fuckin regardless of where it was at, this video singlehandedly proves without a doubt that the Rolling Stones are the hands down best rock band ever. Period. This shows what words can never explain. The ego with the chops to back that shit up. If Jagger could have did the show with his dick hanging out, you can bet your boots he fucking would have. The best.

  • @lanceyoakem You said it all. I have nothing to add, you're absolutely right. The Power and the defiance captured in a short video.

  • Okay guys you got me. I'm editing the title ;)

  • Every time I hear this it sends chills up my spine lol

  • @DzedajO Furthermore this video is a clip from the documentary Gimme Shelter if you had watched that you would see the other songs the band preformed at this concert where it is obviously indoors. I know its the same concert because they're wearing the same outfits. They all wore different outfits at Altamont...

  • @DzedajO The Album "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out" was a live concert recorded at Madison square gardens. The version of Love In Vain that is in this video is on that album. All of the songs on that album we're recorded on November 27th and 28th of 1969 at Madison square gardens. Now the video could have been filmed at Altamont on December 6th of 1969 but it was not because at Altamont Mick was wearing a different outfit and he never changes outfits in his concerts.
