So here's the story: I went in to the dentist for a routine cleaning and checkup, whatever, and they said that I needed a filling for cavity prevention purposes. A tiny pit (not cavity) that had been in one of my molars for years just made him too nervous. Also, all four of my wisdom teeth NEEDED to come out ASAP, they'd been in there too long and started messing stuff up.

Well, shoot, Doc. I don't have anything going on this month, when could we get this done? Later this afternoon? Sounds great!

Not having anything better to do between now and then, could you squeeze me in for that filling while I wait? Awesome!

Why not do some crowns and a root canal or two while we're at it? Gimme the full work up. Just kidding.

But not about the filling and the wisdom tooth extraction. Got all that done same day. I was in that doctors office for about 7 hours, most of it waiting and chatting to the hygienists.

Tell you guys that haven't had your wisdom teeth pulled, it's not a big deal!!! Don't get the gas, I didn't, I just got numbed the crap up and let them go to town. It was AWESOME. My surgeon was cool as all get out. I wish I had a video of the extraction, the staff said it was one of the best ones they'd ever seen.

I know you're not supposed to spit after you get all four of your wisdom teeth surgically extracted, but it was just too cool not to. Here's me (and my sister) having some fun after my dental visit.

P.S... My lower lip BURNED in pain after the numbing cocktail wore off. Stupid rubber band... That actually hurt worse than my extraction sites.
