  • Thanks for your incredibly useful channel, Daniel.

Much better than searching boring libraries!

My video response is faster than your upload but we have a tiny church.

I might try it slower next time tho* Paul (UK)

  • @googlekopfkind hmmm...no sharps no flats and the tonica is G. so the only difference to a normal ionic major scale is the small 7 (tone F). if it was lydian, then the 4 would be sharped all the time and the 7 would be great (but its flat). yes there is a c sharp in the melody but not at the beginning.its simply the fith mode from c-major, whitch makes ist mixolydian or not?

  • @meyerchen86 lydian

  • its mixolydian

  • I was reading about George Russel's Lydian Chromatic Concept, which asserts that the Lydian mode's tonic chord is more stable than that of the major, and surely enough Bach's Lydian work flows like a brook!

  • Excellent music! I've always wanted to see the score for music from the Little Organ Book!!!!
