In this last segment, Roy is joined by stand-up comic Lee Frank, and comes off as a bit of a wet blanket, asserting that synthetic entertainment isn't the best
remedy for what ails us.

I'm sure Roy's family life had it's

good days & bad days.

In bragging about his laughter-filled home, I think Roy was suggesting that in his ideal society, Lee Frank's art would become obsolete, or at least less in demand.

I enjoyed a lot of stuff on Comedy Central when I had a brief free access a few years ago, but now that it's over I don't miss it. I do enjoy a good laugh, but the entertainment industry can really consume you.

Maybe Roy really has a problem interpreting the drift of a casual comment like, "I'm in my own dream world"... just as he might be dyslexic at the idea of humor. He feeds back these ideas with very broad literal interpretations. He's sort of a brilliant savant with the downside being that he's communicating his ideas from a messiah complex pespective, instead of with humor in kind to the people around him.

Yes the Jewish thing is interesting. Roy is certainly one of my all time favorite Jews.

He does go bizarrely overboard pointing out dangers & folly, as if no one else is aware of anything.

When Roy wonders if artificial laughter is healthy, Franklin has to shut him up by conceding, "probably NOT".

Humor today is toilet, genitalia, poo-poo, anti-male, anti family, pro-abortion, snot, and just basic PURE SMUT!

He's got a good point though-why do we need to employ clowns to act like they think they're funny when we can cheer ourselves up? The only reason they exist is because we've lost the art and have an addiction to toilet humour.

@Verdenfell I am not sure you get the point of what he is saying. A Messiah complex does not explain anything. It's a Euphemism, but he cares about teaching what he knows will help with the deep problems. I think he should've said it differently, but he did alright. As long as one is laughing at his or her issues, not looking at the reasons for the problems (b/c of their bent towards entertainment instead of reality) one has deeper problems as a result.

Years later this person will be broke ,and ruined.Meanwhile its roy masters through

his followers doing it.Thats the rules,on a counscious level,it,s your fault for talking to roy masters.He can manipulate it so its your fault.If you do this ,its then your fault,while he did this.
