Hi, yea it was set pretty low from what i remember. It must have been on 1-2 and possibly with a hotplate attenuator. Hiwatts are the ideal amp in my opinion if you want the cleanest and purist of clean sounds. If you want some overdrive just buy a nice pedal like a fulltone OCD and you can cover anything from bedroom volume to stadiums.

yes, these things don't start distorting until around 5 on the volume and by then it is really loud.

@putbress that's with humbuckers. With single coils it's difficult to get it to overdrive at all.
