@tkandme3 Pre-owned? Only two LRVs in Calgary Transit's roster were ever operated by another line - 2101 and 2102, the U2ACs, which were operated briefly by Edmonton, before being sold to Calgary. All of the other vehicles (the 80 remaining U2DCs, and the 82 SD-160s) were purchased new.

There was only the one killing where the train was used as the weapon.
The other murder was the lady raped and murdered at Franklin but that had nothing to do with the train.
As far as muggings and weapons offenses I can't speak for sure on that.

Or being pushed. I'm sure most trains arn't programmed to run people over, or the driver isn't trying.

There were a few instances of killings or injurings at train stations last year, either by a weapon, or by pushing in front of the train. Go check CTV News Calgary's website or CBC Calgary's website.

there's been one murder on the calgary transit c-train line in over 25 years of service so it's hardly an epidemic.
