@Lvduggo69 jackie says all the time that his stand up is made up of unoriginal jokes, he recites classic old jokes, you don't gotta like it but it's a fact that he wrote the majority of sterns early bits, thousands of jokes that were used regularly on air along with writing just about everything that came out of billy wests mouth, anyway yer entitled to your opinion but to say jackie was humourless is fuckin absurd.

The bit about mayor Dinkins was spot on, as a lifelong nyc resident he was a poor excuse for a mayor, the inmates were literally running the asylum, he cared more about tennis than running the city and it showed. What a joke 2,300 homicides!!

@Lvduggo69 according to howard he did, jackie was supposedly asking for a million dollar contract,howard was well into 8 figures at this point. jackie got into the high hundred thousands before his K-rok employers( not howard) told him he didn't have to leave but they couldn't justify paying him a million dollars, howard begged and pleaded with jackie, jackie left. howard did nothing short of paying the guy himself to keep him writing on the show.

. But why didn't Howard fight the last time to keep Jacky on the show if Howard fought every other time because Jacky was soo good for the show ? That part confused me. I just don't like diehard Jacky fans that say Jacky was the whole reason the stern show was funny back then. Could of been the FCC and a bad marrage and cheapasanno and lack of pussy and he was more hungry.I don't like Jacky getting 100% of the credit.

no you can make "claims".. not clames.. but anyway yea like i said he admits to reciting old jokes, granted it's a bad schtick, but let me ask you this, if he was so profoundly useless on the stern show why in gods name did howard bend over backward to keep him on? loyalty? please.. if he thought for a second jackie wasn't right for the show he would have never have hired him, much less fought tooth and nail to keep his job. seems like most your arguments are based on youtube vids also?

Jacky cured cancer and brought peace to the middle east. See I can make clames all day with no proof also. I heard Jacky admit he only uses old jokes and don't write new joks only steals un copyrighted jokes. U know the ones wee all heard in jr high school. Jacky said this. And as far as what Jacky wrote for the HS show. Jacky only laughed at his bits and no ones else's. Jacky was not laughing.

I'm pretty sure women like those who were on this show don't exist anymore, except perhaps in Florida and California. Even then, the ones today tend to be way more uptight and take themselves so seriously, like you owe them something just because they exist.

Howard on WXRK with Jackie was sharper than Howard on WNBC without Jackie.
