Rod Blagowhatever sucked all the oxygen out of the news for about 2 weeks, he has an unfair advantage for recent coverage and immediacy.
I think Ted Stevens is lifetime acheivement award for this year. I mean, there's youtube footage of him addressing a roomful of Alaska politicos with him yelling "I bring the pork back for every one of ya! You OWE me!" or equivalent.

Palin wins by a landslide! Mike Corona is HOT! One nominee is left out, Obama selecting Pastor (AKA liar) Rick Warren. I hope Warren flies on Southwest airlines to DC and gets caught in a storm and gets diverted, re-routed or gets stuck in some red-neck, closed minded, hickville where he belongs.

Thank God!!! Josh is detracting the socialist fascist with his show, and not talking about the economic collapse coming, or any other of the real massive issues facing the Nation. That way all the rich politically connect will fall with the dollar and maybe lose power. Paving the way for freedom to be restored.

Surely they could have come up with a better lie for McCain. After all, do we even know that was a lie or just a moment of clarity showing how disconnected he is from the reality most Americans face?
I prefer the bold-faced lie of when he changed his POW story in Pittsburgh, changing the team in his story from the Packers to the Steelers in order to gain political support. That wasn't just a lie, he sold out his honor and his POW experience and turned them into hollow election props.
