  • j rad im bout to get a 2002 acura 3.2 tl but not the type s, would you say is still a good car that has good preformance, sorry i dont know much about cars but im starting to get into them

  • No problem. This is a very good car and the performance is not bad at all for a vehicle this size. These cars have a lot of torque which means a lot of low end power. The type s has a bit more horsepower but i have also heard that the type s does not offer as good of a ride as the normal TL which is expected due to its stiffer suspension and bigger wheels. Overall the stock 3.2TL is an extremely well executed luxury car that offers you plenty of performance when you want it.

  • Cool vid!....I just bought a Type-S....how do their Transmissions hold up? So far it drives super smooth but that's my biggest fear. Thanks.

  • Truthfully I am on the third transmission in my car. But these cars have a seven year 109,000 mile warranty on the transmissions so they have replaced them without any issues. And every time they've replaced it they have given me a brand new fully loaded Acura TSX loaner for free. But my car has never left me on the side of the road and the car other than that runs awesome. But overall I absolutely love my car!

  • what do you mean the vtech kicks in at 4000 rpm whaat is a vtech

  • found this for some of you who wanted to know.....

"VTEC (which stands for Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) is an electronic and mechanical system in some Honda engines that allows the engine to effectively have multiple camshafts. As the engine moves into different rpm ranges, the engine's computer can activate alternate lobes on the camshaft and change the cam's timing. In this way, the engine gets the best features of low-speed and high-speed camshafts in the same engine."

  • @iKazai No...

  • @vonfred54 Thanks man for all the people who think I'm an idiot.....Most honda engines have a great sound period....It doesn't take VTEC to obtain a refined intake and exhaust note....

  • @scottv holds up like shit love the car to death but have replaced the tranny in my 2003 but it does come with a warranty on the replacement. drives like a dream fingers crossed
