Los Angeles Spanish language media, both print and broadcast, launched an apparently coordinated campaign against Pope John Paul II's visit to Mexico. The focus of the criticism was the commercial sponsorship of his visit (Mexico's church did not foot the bill). I thought the criticim was unfair and unjustified, especially from non-Catholics leading the mob. So I acted.

  • I totally disagree with you on this. Are you referring to this particular clip? The media in this clip are defending the Pope.
