I know about indoor(THis throw), but didn't he PR in like 2002 outdoor? I find it very hard to believe that he hasn't PR in 8 years in outdoor shotput.

That was so fucking crazy I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that result drop in on IAAF back in 08. I thought his time as a great thrower had passed, but man did he prove me wrong!

No one has ever thrown 75 indoors.
The world record is only 74 somethin'. The outdoor wr is 75'10'. .a few people have gone 75... cantwell nelson and hoffa have only gone 73 ever

2 scary far......with it being an olympic year. I hope he still poppin em over 22m come August...he sould be good an tired of the silver.....gotta touch gold like Barnes b4 he retires.

I'm putting my money on Nelson taking it really easy the next couple years.. probably wont see him in a lot of competitions. Then come 2012 he goes tot the trials with a best of like.. 20m and popped out a 22, wins. Goes to London and pops out 23.13 and retires.
