In this episode I show you how to brew coffee in the refrigerator. I also do a tasting of Speakeasy Coffee's Ethiopian Harrar. You will find a couple of my iced coffee recipes on my site, http://www.CoffeeNate.com/11-coldbrewcoffee

  • Thanks for this video, now I don't have to go out and buy a Toddy brewer. I have a question though...what ratio of water to coffee do you use for hot coffee? Is it a 3 to 1 ratio just like the Toddy brewer?

  • @contactvilma Ratio is the same, yes. Good news! I'm giving away 10 free toddy brewers this month (Sept 11) and you can enter on my website. Details are at CoffeeNate[dot]com They don't let me put links in the comments :P Thanks for the comment :)

  • It reminds you of Good and Plenty's..which you think are disgusting? HAHAHAHHAAA!

You'd better never go into sales.

  • @kendigjl

I'm glad you found it funny :) I'm not trying to sell it, I'm trying to relate the flavor!

  • hey bud

how do you filter the coffee after youve waited 12hours and transfer it to its secondary jar?

  • @jonnykang2 Thanks for the comment! I brew it in the French press and other than the plunger, I don't use a secondary filter method! Have you tried it yet? Take care

  • thanks for the quick responce,

i dont have a french press handy so i always use two jars.i use a tea(round ball)filter when transfering the cofee but once i seperate the coffee concentrate from the first jar there is always still a bit of mudd at the bottom as if it were turkish coffee.
