This is a Sudanese henna design. It has some gulf influence in it too. This is one of many styles you will see from the Sudan, it is not the only style of henna they apply there.

I think it is a lovely design with the bold details and delicate flowers. Design originally took 19 minutes to apply. Henna used is my monsoon henna.

  • Salamu alekum, the website or the facebook i have seen has nothing to do with "sudenese Henna" it was just pure India or mehandi. I don't like so call mehanid hindi. I prefere sudenese darka stain henna please do more that

  • @FaadumoArdo walaikum as salam. The facebook and website that were sent to me with pictures of Sudanese henna were not posted on my video, there were sent to me in private message. I am new to Sudanese henna, so I don't have very many pictures. I will make more in the future.

  • @Zainababdullah I love the Sudanese designs too. I will try to do more design in this style. I will ask around to see if I can get a hold of some pattern books. Shipping to Canada takes 7-10 business days not including time spend in customs.

  • @goodprovidence Is that right . I use sometimes with Mahalabiya (mayso) but I don't usually get that dark dark henna. Thank you so very much.

  • @FaadumoArdo Hello I am from Australia and have many Sudanese friends here. I understand from them that the dark Sudanese Henna is produced when you mix Mahalabiya with the Henna.
