@johnTRAN93 The Master just used to be evil for the sake of it.. Now that have to give him some sort of psychological reason for it... Ruined the character in my opinion =(

@Vlorsutes they're different in the way that they're 'upgraded' gallifreyans. it's like if our dna mutated into something else. it happens when a gallifreyan created a symbiotic bond with a TARDIS. It lets him travel in time indefinitely.

@emROARS That's not true at all. There's never been any canon statements that there's any physiological differences between a Time Lord and an ordinary Gallifreyan. The general consensus is that given what's been stated in the series as well as the books suggest that it's a social status and not a biological difference (like a high class and middle class sort of system).

@aquagrl63 She was Gallifreyan. A Time Lord is a completely different species, one will a quadruple helix of DNA while Gallifreyans have a triple helix. That, as well as the Rassilon Impermiture gives them the abilities of a Time Lord.
