Selena: *sees Nick* Oh, Nick. Um.. Miley just BARGED into my house so I was just--

Miley: *interrupts her; pretending to sob* She grabbed me and tried to punch me!

Selena & Nick: *shocked, says in unison* WHAT?!

Miley: *she sniffles* It's true! *goes over to Nick, cries into his chest* If you didn't come, God only knows what she would've done.. *smirks to herself*

Nick: *looks at Selena in disbelief* I can't believe you.

Selena: *her mouth was wide open at what Miley had said, she turns to Nick* Nick, I--

Nick: *not wanting to hear what she has to say* Stop, Selena. Just stop. *shakes his head in disappointment* I knew you never accepted us being together.

Selena: *starts to get teary-eyed* Wh-what are you saying?

Nick: *looks down at the floor, takes a deep breath then looks up at her again* I don't think our friendship is going to work anymore. It's not the same as it was four years ago.

Selena: *felt a pain in her throat, tears are now falling from her eyes* No.. *shakes her head violently* No! You can't--

Nick: *interrupts her* I just did, Selena. *pauses* I can't deal with you anymore.

Selena: *sobs* Nick.. *she sniffles*

Nick: I'll see you around, Selena. *leaves with Miley*

Miley: *looks back at Selena; grinning, mouths to her* You had fair warning. *turns back*

Selena: *can't take it anymore, shuts the door when Nick & Miley leave her doorstep, & runs upstairs to her room & goes on her bed & cries*

{Selena's P.O.V.}

I can't believe it. Our friendship is... over. After 12years...gone. I bawled for what seemed like forever. I cried until my eyes were swollen and my face was red. I sobbed until my stomach felt like it was going to burst. I haven't cried this much since my first boyfriend cheated on me in seventh grade.

It was now 6 o'clock; five hours and 27 minutes since I lost my best friend. I got up and went to my bathroom to wash up.

{Nick's P.O.V.}

Oh, God, Nick. What did you do? I sighed as I was reminiscing back five hours and 27 minutes earlier to when I dumped my best friend.

Her breathing started to become uneven. Her eyes were full of shock, disbelief and confusion. And the tears.. my God the tears.. They were flowing down her cheeks uncontrollably. The last time I saw her crying like that was when her first boyfriend cheated on her back in middle
school.

---FLASHBACK;; Seventh grade; Nick's house---

Selena: *balled up in a corner with Nick, cuddled in his chest & crying* I c-can't believe he cheated on me.. *sobs*

Nick: *holding her in his arms, strokes her hair* I know, Lena. I'm sorry.

Selena: *sniffles* How could he do that to me? *looks up at him* Am I not good enough?

Nick: *looks at her, perplexed* No. God, no. *pauses* If anything, you're too good for him. *smiles comfortingly at her*

Selena: *manages to smile* Yeah? *a tear falls from her eye*

Nick: *wipes away the tear with his thumb, smiling warmly at her* Yeah.

---End of flashback---

I tell you, she was depressed for the longest time. She told me that she was glad I was with her throughout the whole thing, and that she was grateful to have a friend like me. Huh. Some friend I am..
