Open Range Chickens Loving Life

Open Range is a better term for those of us who really let the chicken run in open fields. I have heard that some use the free range meaning that they just run around in a big coupe. So here is some real open range hens living good and on 98 degree days too. Things don't have to be fancy to be good as chickens don't like change.

More people should see this video! These birds look healthy and happy :) Too bad more farmers aren't like this any more....I think that in time, when people are more educated on the conditions the chickens have in factory farms, chickens like this will be in more demand.

Free range eggs are great and there's a huge difference between free range eggs and the normal eggs you get. I tell my husband not to get normal eggs as the conditions are so cruel and having done work experience in a battery farm, it wasn't fun. The eggs are so rich and full of flavor from free range chickens and I made pancakes the other day and they were so much more filling and tasty and bright yellow. Say hi to the girls for me!

@emilytodd28 I tell folks that you can see and taste happy hen happys. No matter how bad my day gets, the girls are happy to see me and always brighten my day!
