I'd love to see Pac and Martinez go at it and I agree that Manny would have a more difficult time with Sergio Martinez than Paul Williams.

Sergio is a world class fighter and a very credible champion. There is no such thing as a complete fighter every fighter has a weakness. Martinez does not have the best footwork and he can be hit as well. It's funny when a fighter beats all of his opponents easy people say he needs to be challenged but then when he faces a tough opponent and does not put on a flawless performance people say he was exposed or overrated. You can't have it both ways. No fighter is unstoppable. Ask Mike Tyson.

@jhabeeb1 Who called Williams a Journeyman? I simply stated that he didnt look like the unstoppable force that some fans and mainstream Boxing media tried to make him out to be. Williams is no complete fighter. Like you just said he's human and to me he's very human. I clearly stated he's a top fighter but all the benefits of the doubt are given to him. None to Sergio or the people he faces. he hasnt earned that right.

Why is it everytime a fighter shows that he is human he is labeled as exposed. Was Pacquiao exposed by Marquez and Morales? Every fighter has weakness. Roy Jones looked human against Montell Griffen in his first fight and in the rematch he blew him out in the first round. Why didn't anyone call that a fluke? Paul Williams and Sergio Martinez are both world class fighters. I am not ready yet to label him a journeyman just yet because he had a close fight with another world class fighter.

@DStyleBoxing No other fighters would. This isnt like Mayweather when he avenged close fight with Castillo and beat him clearly in a rematch. This is a case where he caught Quintana and hurt him early. A figher would have to have a history of 1st round knockouts over top opponents to convince me that its something that could happen in a 3,rd 4th, 5th fight. Williams doesnt.

@jhabeeb1 The Kahn/Prescott and De Leon/Lopez is just an example to prove a point. Even a third Quintana fight- why didnt Williams give it to Quintana? Wuintana gave him the rematch after clearly outboxing him for 12 rounds. ONE round is not enough to garner data. Like anything else you need enough data to register the improvement of a fighter. There isnt enough data to show how Williams would do in another 12 round fight againt Quintana out of that one round. He's getting pass for that, when

@jhabeeb1 I know what you said. But you're still making excuses for a fighter who's suppose to be a professional. Ishe Smith talked about it, always getting fights short notice. When you're picked to fight, you're the one at the disadvantage not the other way around. The Quintana rematch, you're over-reading it. Prescott isnt knocking out Kahn in the first round in a rematch //When is Williams just gonna carry him self as a professional and stop making an excuse everytime he gets exposed

as I said before just like in the Quintana fight that was taken on short notice Williams was able to make the adjustments in the rematch. I believe that you will see a different Williams now that he will have had a full training camp. Martinez turned out to be a better fighter than he expected. Full credit goes to Martinez for his performance and to be fair Williams did give that to him after the fight. Williams now knows what to expect from Martinez now and I think it will show this time.
