The "Missa Luba" (a version of the Latin Mass based on traditional Congolese songs) was arranged by Father Guido Haazen, a Franciscan Friar from Belgium, and originally performed and recorded in 1958 by a choir of Congolese children from Kamina. Performing "Sanctus" (the most recognized movement) is the IBC Gospel Choir, under the direction of Aaron Robinson, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Portland, Maine.
