  • Finally someone with common sense!

  • @chsn09 She is mixed race, but not with white. She is mixed with African- American and Creole. So basically, she is black.

  • Beyonce is clearly mixed race.

  • @terrinyc29 - Thanks.

  • @terrinyc29 Black people do not come in different colors. There is NO such thing as a light skinned black. That is a contradictory oxymoron. Black is supposed to refer to dark skinned individuals of West and Central African descent. Do you ever hear ppl using the term dark skinned white!?

  • @terrinyc29 Actually BOTH of Beyonce's parents are mixed. Her father is of predominant black ancestry but he is a dark Creole. Beyonce's mother is less than 25% black. Just because a person has black in them does not automatically make them black! Beyonce's mother is a multiracial (mostly white) woman of full Louisiana Creole descent. Study Beyonce's geneaology.

  • AAs, Arabs, Creoles, Latinos etc are all basically multiracial ethnic groups

  • @terrinyc29 Read my previous posts. Your confusing African American with the term BLACK. AAs don't go around saying they're mixed because AA is a unique ethnic group term rather than a racial term. AA almost always implies having a mixture. Beyonce is a Louisiana Creole which is a cultural group term. I was speaking specifically of Beyonce's lineage breakdown

  • @OctoberLibra1 I so Agree!

  • @chsn09 Most Black people are mixed with Native American and European. Most of us don't go around saying we're "mixed" unless we have a parent that is of another race not partly and mostly black.
