Meade Telescope control by PC soft with COM control with USB-RS232 interface .Testing this personal software , If you have a question , Ask me , This is developed with Visual Studio (Basic) Interface, Sending a 9600 bauds, 8 parity , Handshake , Xon off.
I making this software and send a commands to Autostar 497 as model, but if you only have 494 , can connected a Pic interface to send pulses , ( Most Unassemble your Pad and Soldering your cables ) I can help you if you make your ask in my channel :D, luck!
