A simple bicycle lathe made from an old exercise bike. The seat-post and handle bars have been swapped round to allow the cyclist/motor to see whats going on. This means they end up pedalling backwards, but you hardly notice once going.
The squeek is due to not having the correct headstock and having to improvise with a bit of wood.

    The Amish use diesel engines to power their shop tools. Their faith keeps them buying electricity from the grid, that doesn't mean they're against powered equipment.
