this is not a easter egg, is obviously that the admins put there the family, and make you think, so i was there in the trailer sleeping and i dont hear anything? but the most important point is that if u are a realy scavenger at the first of the game u can make notice of that, i make it by myself

ohh I get what you mean. This still is an Easter egg. Easter eggs don't have to be 'super hard' to find, it can just be any reference to popular culture or any other forms of media. In this case, its a reference to the first Dead Island trailer. (Remember how they announced how game will be nothing like the trailer? :P)

A few things:
The axe isn't the fireaxe from the trailer
The window isn't broken
There isn't a dead zombie in the room, (He decapitated the one in the red shirt)
Its a cool easter egg though.
