  • I like everything except for the cowboys.

  • love you man! hope you are well, brent. looking forward to collaborating again v soon...

  • beautiful video with sharp images. it has wow factor. I wasn't so sure what it was about but watched it 3 times and I think its something about the main guy kind of represents like a record company picking bands just based on their image, The Blakes are like eff this and walk out of there but then there's a funeral? ... the death of music? the death of record companies? hmmm.

  • you nailed it!

  • i agree. some amazing photography. but it doesnt fit together..

the slow-mo and closeups are very nicely done..

just feels like the video could have had a better story.

the artistic clips were really good.

  • thanks for the feedback. just experimenting with time... and not being so literal. havin fun.

  • Great job! I don't agree about the story not sticking together. It makes sense to me. "The man" only has power over us if we give him the power. If we walk away then the power is gone and "the man" dies. I like your reference to 1930's Germany in the behind the scenes video. Spot on. Well done, excellent!

  • well done! I like the slow mo...

  • totally agree. i watched a madona video in the gym the other day and thought that each scene would be brilliant as a photo and that is what made her videos so iconic. you cant beat good photography DOP in a film or music vid

  • No SLR was used in the photographing of this video. It was all shot on a RED One and the high-speed Phantom camera using (mostly) Cooke Glass

  • great song, sweet vid!

  • Probably a RED camera and maybe one of the canons that do video.

  • Wicked! The song, story, details, cinematography, color, and effects (the slow-mo clips make me all giddy ;) are great. Was any/all of this shot on SLR?

  • Ive always loved your photography Chase. And this music video is no exception. Absolutly loved it.
