At the senior division of Cranbrook Theatre School this summer, students had the option of taking extra classes. They chose from directing, playwriting, songwriting, make-up, and Tango.
In the Tango class, we learned a bit about where this style of dance came from, and worked on a final performance, choreographed by our teacher, Kelly. The final dance was performed during the intermission of the senior division's final show.
Many of us can say that this was one of the best experiences of our lives.
Thank you so much, Kelly.

Well, I don't know what else to say. Here it is.
This is El Tango De Roxanne from Moulin Rouge.

  • Oh they are begginners? Thats why.

    Pretty good.

  • For people who were just learning that was great! The choreography was smart and definitely work for the beginners, not against them.

  • @jazzy1003 keep in mind they are still learning, okay? for beginners, its not bad at all.

  • that was lovely.

  • it needs emotion, it feels robotic....no passion....

  • nice try next time put mare emotion in your dancing..

  • bloody amazing, if i could dance half like that i'd be happy. xx

  • beautiful!!!please see my company's version!! thanks!!

  • i can't take lessons until im 18(in april) because the place where i'm gonna take them is for 18+

  • Whoever choreographed this did an amazing job, and the dancers have talent, but they need to add more emotion to the dance. I'm not saying anything bad about it, I swear, call it constructive criticism. You need to remember as a dancer that you are telling a story with your body. You need to portray the story as you know how, so add that extra oomph with facial expression and don't loosen up too much. But over all remember to put your whole self into the dance, it will make it 10 times better.
