I picked up this burned up (and melted) Argo (late 60's I believe) to use the new axles and bearings in my '76. This is the first Argo I have seen with a fibreglass top and NO headlights.

It's shame to see her go :(

  • the second song name please???

  • @hyde20082142

1st Song = Optimized, by Skinny Puppy

2nd Song = Debonair, by Dope

  • i don't see how someone can burn stuff like that.If they do that they must be a pretty ignorant person how does'nt put any effort into much things.

  • The fellow was tuning it in his garage at the time. Gas had dripped from the carb and settled in the pan. There was a spark and POOF! He received 2nd degree burns pushing it outside. His house caught fire but was extinguished with a hose.

I bought it for the driveline. The engine still runs good, but the wires are fried. The body was much worse than the video might show. Was burned/melted bow to stern!

  • how much for the rims and tires? I just took on a 1968 Allis Chalmers Terra Tiger 6X6. Needs new rims and tires

  • Sorry, I used them on my '76 Argo.

  • everything is fixable no need to trash her fiberglass kit paint motor good to go

  • well cool

  • what are you going to do with that motor?

  • I had a 60s/early70s model got it in 1975,just the hull, tranny and tires,it was called an Amphipacat.Lot of guys in Miami came out to their motorcycles to ride and found their chains missing! :)) Found tires in La. and a 16 hp wisconsin engine, head lights were the lens from a sears 6 volt flashlight and a bicycle generator "rubbing " the belt! Crossed the Everglades seems a hundred times!
