I don't like skiing (because i can't skiing) but I love to watch it because it looks so extremely difficult technically and stylish

Guys, we're all friends here. If your a skier, your a skier. If your a snowboarder, your a snowboarder. We all have our differences and what not. But under the hood, we're the same, we love the snow, and we love our sport. Like if you think both sports are cool, even though you do one of the two.

I snowboard. I have respect for skiiers. on the terrain hill if they are not using the jumps and rails like their supposed to and just get in the way thats when i get mad at skiiers. Note to all skiiers. Dont go down the terrain hill unless your gunna use the hill properly.

@Howenn23 my opinion is skiing is easy to learn basics, but then it gets harder. Snowboarding is hard at first, and maybe getting easier but never easy.

My opinion is that like someone said before, snowboarding is harder the first few days, when you learn to carve and getting control of your board, then it's getting easier and easier. Skiing is both difficult in learning how to precisely carve and just riding the mountain with style needs lots of training, the tricks are difficult too.

@soundwave070 what are talking about. Seeing two skis in a fat cross spinning through the air like chopper blades... it's a beautiful thing.

I'm all for skiing myself but I do think that snowboard airtricks look a lot more elegant/stylish because with skis the poles and the crossed skis look chaotic and to the untrained eye probably sloppy. Have to say I prefer the look of a big air without the cross too or a really tight Lui Kang. As for difficulty I'd say the first couple of days on a board is harder but after that it takes less long to become a decent boarder than it takes to master skiing imho. Both definitely kick ass!

I'm a snowboarder myself, but I personally gotta admit,

skiing gives more abilities (more speed, easier spins and flips, ect)

but snowboarding is performed a lot more cleaner and smoother!
