first heard it on radio station WLAC Nashville Tennessee year 1966. So nice to hear it again from a time so long ago.

It really doesn't matter what genre of music you like, this is one of the best songs ever written and performed. I don't own a single soul album and have very little interest in the genre, but I heard this song many years ago late at night while driving through Iowa and I have never forgotten it.
