I don't mean to intrude, but may I remind you the huge profit US earned by arms trade during WWII which largely offset the 1920s' recession while most other parts of the world were struggling in the war? But now, time is different. The comparison between 2008 and 1929 is not reasonable and convincing.

I am not cursing the US financial turmoil, which will cause a roller coster-like financial crisis in the world. Not to mention that China government is left holding a bag of debt not repaid.

us economy isnt sinking. what happened in 1929? americans economy was bad wet through recession did that stop america from becoming one of the best economys. last time i checked china is a second world country where the government treats the chinese people like crap.
