@masterbakari I think most commonly there are 10 & 12 set roads with other variations, but Tan Tui itself was created by Muslims, so it may just be a translation thing :)

Thanks for posting...very few out there post anything similar to what the essence of this form should be. Yes it is an incredibly old muslim form made by people that had long garments which wouldve restricted certain Wushu versions with guys LEAPING all over the place and flapping alot and too many side to side movements. This was designed to be used with bulky clothing in narrow walkways and alleyways! Thank you for posting!!

amazing...the lost muslim spring leg method. developed by the influx of chinese muslims using the northern shaolin

This is weird. I am a practicing Muslim, and I used to do Internal Shaolin Kung-Fu, and I saw the title of this video and made this face: 0_o

Master Bakari's technique is powerful and smooth. His balance is excellent.

Chaquaun has the same movements, strikes and footwork, but utilizes several flying kicks, acrobatics & spinning kicks such as tornado, running kicks, butterfly, full twisting butterfly, 540, Inside crescent, 720 kick etc
Is this part of the Chaquan set?

@taichi29 My understanding is that Cha Chuan is a different Style all together.

Oh...ok. I seen ur demonstration of the kemetic hands technique and it's applications & I'm very interested in maybe one day studying some of these movements with you. I'm a under belt (brown) in Wado Ryu right now so, I don't want to adulturate my practice, but I'll keep following along with ur post. Bow!

Just out of curiousity where did your tantui set come from? I learned a ten road tantui, and the closest thing I could find to it was the han chi tang line and even that doesn't look exactly the same as mine.

@TaoOfTheFist. I don't know the answer to that question. My teacher told me that it was a "Muslim" Set and that's the only information I have on it. However, he did write a manual on "Muslim Boxing In China." If I can locate it I will pass the info. on to you.
