I know this video took you a long long long time to make, and it's very informative.

but I just hope that everyone understands how this combo won't be very practical given the fact that how many times are you actually going to splash some1 without cross up, and how many times will you be able to hit confirm it?

I'm a zangief player and i have never used this c.mk into lariat combo, it's just inpractical

I use gief and his Lariat all the time. I do not have the pro joystick and lariat is the simple move I can use by pressing R1 in my ps3 controller. I like this video. I hope you can do more on how gief can utilize the focus attack. His focus attack travels a long distance and ex cancel and help get closer to the opponient. But I do not know how to use it right. If you make a video like this one for the focus attach, it will be VERY VERY helpful.

Very great video. Well made and just fun to watch. Being a zangief player it is always good to see other tactics I can include in my own game/skills. Aside of his other links which are a little stricter to do, the lariat combos are a good alternative =].

4:08 What the... isn't it more simple to just crouch and let Chun fall back enough to just lariat where you know she'll get hit? You could even just hit her without a trade if she kicks too early and go for a mixup afterwards!

@affehl316 nono don't get me wrong, i totally appreciate your effort, because i know how hard it is to film all that and then edit it neatly.

plus, you had to go through all the characters, it's a tough job, i've done it so i appreciate it.

i was just commenting how this isn't that applicable in matches. because if you stunned your opponent, focus + SPD is more damaging, and if you don't, then it's tough to land a jump in this sweet at that distance
