What a load of biased CRAP !!!. OK, Lumens is the amount of light energy emitted in ALL directions from the light source, be it a led a globe or whatever. The proper scientific term for measuing total light energy, not "watts". What comes out the front and lands on a surface which is where it is all at folks it is called LUX. THAT depends on the efficiency of the optics in comparison. The overall effectiveness is also modified by the beam angle. Short answer ? Specs are Smoke & Mirrors

Thanks for the info :-D would like to see the math such as spproximate CP/Lumens ratio.

make a wish, dork

Excellent

so how do i mesure the light in a room. i have a f stop light meter and need candle power
-
That depends on the effective the bulb/LED is.

**blows out candle**

@bigboyjack21 wtf

That's cause;
1) the first take did not have the proper lighting (or "Lumens") and had to be re-lit and re-shot.
2) the next few takes he screwed up the lines and or "product placement interaction"
3) Then (being tired from previous takes) he could not blow out the candle after finally getting all of the above right!!
So take #35 and they finally get it right, hence the smile of ACCOMPLISHMENT!!
Welcome to the world of "making a scripted video"! LOL
