Oh , Ozone oxidzes (rusts) silver quickly (turns black), so if you are keeping physical silver bullion at home (or worse, have silver decorations in the open), you will need to put the silver in sealed ziplock freezer bags before you turn these machines one. Again these machines are the kings of odor elimination. If your needs are more particles/allergens, you need to get an austin air or IQAir. If your needs are mixed, get a sharp plasmacluster.

These things are not worth $750. You can buy used Ecoquests for $75-150 on ebay. $300-350 for new from dealers going broke. If you want ozone-free ionization with HEPA, get a sharp plasma cluster.

Ecoquest and this rip-off is for primarily odor elimination (RCI only or with plate). If you want particle/allergy reduction primarily, get an Austin Air or IQAir.

You can't mix ozone and carbon filters, the ozone will saturate it extremely quickly. Ecoquests are not known for minimizing ozone.
